Zuza Ziółkowska / Hercberg is a painter, author of installations and performative actions, artivist.
The artist is interested in subject of memory and body, as well as issues related to a broad sense of identity and belonging to a place.
Currently working on her Doctor of Arts degree at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, prof. Leon Tarasewicz and Ph.D. Pawel Susid Painting Space Studio and prof. Krzysztof Wodiczko Public Domain Art Studio.
She has graduated with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the Faculty of Painting, prof Leon Tarasewicz and Ph.D. Pawel Susid Painting Studio.
She is also a graduate of W. Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz Painting and Graphic Design Faculty and Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, Journalism Faculty.
Participant in Retreat for Jewish Artists, Asylum Arts and POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, 2017.
Representative of Poland in the 4th edition of UNESCO Art Camp Biennial – Colors of the Planet 2014 in Andorra.
Participant in the workshop Innovating Science Communication at Medical Museums 2014 in Leiden – Netherlands with the art project Eugenics and Euthanasia.
Scholarship holder of Inter-University Multimedia Program, and scholarship holder of the Fund for the Support of Creative Activity Of The Society Of Authors ZAIKS.
